Citadel Drilling is hiring for Floorhands, Derrickhands and Motorman
Floorhands
Location: New Mexico and West Texas
The Floorhand reports to the Driller and is an integral member of the rig crew. Primary responsibilities include making/breaking drill pipe connections, tripping, running casing, and assisting with cementing operations. Other duties include servicing rig components and equipment, including the draworks, top drive, auto-wrench, and hydraulic pipe handling system.
Derrickhand
The primary duties of the Derrickhand are maintaining proper drilling fluid characteristics, the rate of fluid circulation, mud handling equipment, and the preventative maintenance program. Additionally, the Derrickhand is responsible for the work done above the rig floor.
Motorman
The primary duties of the Motorhand are to ensure that all equipment is operating and functioning correctly. Additionally, Motorhands are required to complete minor repairs on equipment as directed. Other duties include servicing rig components and equipment, including the draworks, top drive, auto-wrench, and hydraulic pipe handling system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working on an AC Triple drilling rig;
- Possess a strong mechanical aptitude;
- Able to meet drug and alcohol test requirements and fitness to work;
- Work locations are remote, so must have reliable transportation to and from the location;
- Possess a valid H2S certificate and obtain other required certifications;
- References required.
