Welder / Pipefitter Apprentice
As a welder helper, you may assist the lead welder in moving heavy objects, holding down certain workpieces, or handle certain welding tasks.
Requirements
- Background Check
- Drug and Alcohol Test
- Registered in AIT ( Alberta Industry Training )
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification or PST (Petroleum Safety Training)
- Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection

Rig Welder Journeyman

“A pipeliner performs maintenance on an oil or gas pipeline. Pipeliners inspect damage to the line, determine the best approach and equipment for the issue, and make repairs to the pipeline. Pipeliners also repair and maintain pumps, valves, and other pipeline parts.”
