Plants & Goodwins is looking to hire Floorhands, Rig Operator, Cement Hand, Heavy Equipment Operators

Location: Pennsylvania

Floorhand 

The job of the Floorhand is to safely and efficiently perform all manual labor tasks on the workover rig floor.  The Floorhand works under the supervision of the Service Rig Operator, but reports directly to the Rig Supervisor.

Requirements: 

  • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license, CDL, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to perform manual labor required to operate rig equipment
  • Ability to comply with DOT Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Service Rig Operator 

The job of the Service Rig Operator is to safely and efficiently operate all rig components while overseeing a crew of 1-2 Floorhands.  The Service Rig Operator reports directly to the Rig Supervisor

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience working on a well servicing rig
  • Must be able to successfully perform the duties of a Floorhand
  • Must be familiar with pump and tank operations
  • Must have a valid state issued drivers license, CDL, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to perform manual labor required to operate well servicing equipment
  • Ability to show knowledge of running tongs and all other support equipment
  • Competent communication, people, and leadership skills
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Cement Hand

The Cement Hand is responsible for performing tasks associated with the daily operations of a cementing unit. The Cement Hand works under the direct supervision of the Cement Pump Operator and Cement Supervisor to carry out all assigned job duties.

Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating construction equipment in order to build or reclaim well pads. Equipment includes but is not limited to: bulldozer, excavator, skid steer, and farm tractor

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Possession of commercial drivers license (CDL) or willingness to obtain one
  • 1-3 years of heavy equipment operation experience
  • Competent communication, people, and leadership skills
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

 Entry-level Cement Pump Operator

The entry-level Cement Pump Operator I learns basic safety, operations, and repair procedures on equipment, utilizing the mentor program and on job training to include but not limited to: Performing pre- and post-job equipment inspections, performing preventative maintenance procedures, and maintaining support equipment.  The Cement Pump Operator assists in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience driving on a commercial drivers license (CDL) required
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • Competent communication, people, and leadership skills
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
