Key Energy Service is hiring for Floorhand, Operator, Derrickhand, Laborer and Drivers 

Floorhands 

Locations: Odessa, Snyder, Midland & Crane Texas * Hobbs, New Mexico * Williston, North Dakota * San Ardo, California

This position is a crew member of a well service rig responsible for performing services on oil and gas wells. Duties include assisting in rigging up and rigging down, pulling/laying down rods, tubing, casing and other functions specified by customer or well operator.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic oilfield well servicing experience, a minimum of one (1) year rig operation experience.
  • CDL B license is required to drive rig. Must meet all qualifications defined in the Motor Vehicle Policy if required to drive.

Derrickhand

Locations: Odessa, Midland, Andrews, Crane, Iraan Texas * Hobbs, New Mexico * Williston, North Dakota

Assists the operator in rigging up and down, lining up the well service rig with the well. Sets hydraulic jacks, handles pads/boards and assists in attaching the guy wires to the anchor. Responsible for all elevated work associated with rigging up/down (i.e. removing horse head from pumping unit). Responsible for all work performed for the rod basket and tubing board (transferring rods and tubing from the vertical racks to the elevator), performs servicing on the well.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  •  1-2 years of Workover – Derrickhand experience required.
  • CDL B license is required to drive rig. Must meet all qualifications defined in the Motor Vehicle Policy if required to drive.

Equipment Operators 

Locations: Alice, Texas (4)

Under direction of Service Supervisor, performs routine work in rigging up and rigging down of coiled tubing equipment used in surface operations at the  well site. Operates a fluids and/or nitrogen pump/truck. Controls and monitors the operation. 

Requirements: 

  • Class A Commercial Drivers License.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record with a clean driving record and no DWI/DUI convictions within the last 3 years.
  • Must be willing and able to operate heavy equipment and meet all physical requirements for field position.
  • Must be able to competently perform job duties of an EO1 including pump operation experience.
  • Well control training.
  • Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred.
  • Crane training.

Rig Operators

Location: Williston, North Dakota

This position is responsible for the operation of the rig, crew and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Incumbent ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time, and maintains productivity standards for all rig functions.

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have rig operation experience and be able to demonstrate full competency in rigging up/rigging down and well servicing operations. Minimum two or more years experience in rig and well servicing operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in oilfield well servicing is required.
  • Valid commercial driving license and must meet all qualifications defined in Motor Vehicle Policy.

 Trans/Vac Truck Driver

Locations: Stanton, Zapata, Bryan, Iraan Texas * Eunice, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a diesel truck in a DOT-regulated environment
  • Valid CDL with a clear 3-year driving record
  • Basic knowledge of oilfield well servicing
  • At least one (1) year of experience and knowledge of or experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of diesel trucks
