Do you believe in the right to choose? That is the question that the Freedom Convoy 2022 is asking truckers across north America as they rally together to fight the Covid-19 vaccine mandate. This mandate is stopping un-vaccinated truckers from crossing the Canada – United States boarder, and the convoy is standing up against it!
In Canada, Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government have implemented that as of Jan 15th, 2022 all truck drivers coming into Canada will require full proof of vaccination. In the United States, Biden has also made it mandatory as of Jan 22nd, 2022 that all truckers entering from Canada and Mexico will need full proof of vaccination.
Truckers crossing any of the Canada – United States borders will now be required to show proof of vaccination.
This mandate is a blatant attack on the rights of un-vaccinated truckers, and it’s something that the Freedom Convoy 2022 plans to fight! The convoy is rallying together truck drivers from all over north America who are committed to defending their right to choose vaccines.
“To our Fellow Canadians, the time for political over reach is over. Our current government is implementing rules and mandates that are destroying the foundation of our businesses, industries and livelihoods. Canadians have been integral to the fabric of humanity in many ways that have shaped the planet.” Tamara Lich writes on the GoFundMe account that was created to raise as much money as possible to help offset the costs of all these truckers who are standing up for their rights and freedoms.
The GoFundMe has raised over $4,331,000.00 in just a few days as of Tuesday morning when writing this, if that doesn’t show support.. we don’t know what does. The GoFundMe will be utilized to help the truckers participating for fuel, travel and other costs. These truckers aren’t just standing up their own rights, but for all of ours in general. People aren’t just donating, they’re going out to roadways along side the route and all chanting and holding signs up in support of the truckers. There is massive support flooding in from all across the nation.
The convoy currently has truck drivers taking their trucks across Canada heading to Ottawa to protest this mandate. State side, American truckers are now building convoys from all over the nation and heading north to Ottawa as well to show their support.
The US convoy support groups on Facebook indicate there are over 10,000 truck heading north to Ottawa, but we’re sure that number is also growing daily now! They state that any of the drivers who can not make it into Canada due to the vaccine mandate will be sitting at the border in support for the protest. This will create a bottle neck at most US-Canada border crossings and should quickly get the attention of both counties leaders.
Our nations truckers are the veins to our economy, it’s time to show our governments that we will not stand for this! To all the truck drivers out there, know that you have our full support.

The convoy is expected to reach Ottawa on January 29th, 2022 and plan to rally at Parliament Hill.
