Floorhand

Locations: Alice, Levelland, Odessa, Midland, Kilgore, Winnsboro, Snyder, Crane Texas – Williston, Dickinson North Dakota- Hobbs, New Mexico – Buckhannon, West Virginia

“Assists service company personnel in rigging up or down special equipment and/or tools if instructed to do so by the Driller. Assists and helps Crew Pusher carry out all operational activities around the rig floor or any other area of the rig location as designated by the Driller.”

Requirements

Valid Drivers License

Derrickhand

Locations: Odessa, Giddings, Alice, Kilgore, Andrews, Midland, Snyder, Levelland, Winnsboro Texas – Buckhannon, West Virginia – Hobbs, New Mexico – Williston, Dickinson North Dakota

“A derrickhand or derrickman is the person who sits atop the derrick on a drilling rig. Though the exact duties vary from rig to rig, they almost always report directly to the driller. Their job is to guide the stands of the drill pipe into the fingers at the top of the derrick.”
